Toksy Akinleye, FNP-BC has been a Family Nurse Practitioner with Pain Consultants of East Tennessee since 2014. She is the mother of 6 beautiful children. She received her Associates degree in Computer Science from Pellissippi State, graduating Cum Laude with academic honors. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Pellissippi State and Sigma Theta Kappa Honor Society at the University of Tennessee. She spent eight years working in a variety of settings including Oncology, Long Term Acute Care, and Heart Lung Vascular at Fort Sanders, Select Specialty, and the University of Tennessee Medical Center respectively. She received her Master’s degree in Nursing from Tennessee Technological University, in Cookeville, in 2014, graduating Magna Cum Laude with academic honors, and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
