Dr. James Choo was recently invited to speak to the 2016 Spring Worker’s Compensation Conference, which was organized by Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Knoxville. Choo presented on non-opioid management for the chronic pain patient.
Choo continues to educate other health care practitioners and the community at-large about the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach to treating chronic pain. Instead of solely relying on prescription medication, Choo continues to discuss the importance of integrating other various facets to a treatment plan, which can include behavioral health and counseling, physical and occupational therapy, minimally invasive procedures, and more.
