Sean Blanton, PA-C is an NCCPA Board-Certified Physician Associate and has been with Pain Consultants of East Tennessee since January of 2023. He has 10 years clinical/surgical experience in neurosurgery prior to joining our team. He received his Master of Health Sciences in Physician Associate Studies through South College in 2013. He is also an ANCC board-certified Registered Nurse of seven years with practice background in medical critical care with Covenant Health/Tennova Healthcare, and three years surgical and trauma critical care with UTMC. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Tennessee Wesleyan College/Ft. Sanders School of Nursing in 2005. He has lived in Knoxville since 1992. He has a loving family of five, and his hobbies include hiking in the Smoky Mountains, snow skiing, road/mountain biking, and woodworking.
