PCET employees were proud to support Metro Drug Coalition‘s effort to bring awareness to Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) by participating in their Pearls and Bowties for Babies campaign in early October.
NAS is a group of problems that occur in a newborn who was exposed to addictive opiate drugs while in the mother’s womb. The number of NAS births has tripled in the past decade.
