VIA Disk NP Procedure

The VIA Disc NP procedure is a minimally invasive treatment designed to help repair and support worn-out spinal discs. It uses tissue from donor spinal discs to improve the function and strength of damaged discs. This tissue, specially processed and sized for easy injection, is mixed with saline to ensure it’s properly hydrated before use.

The treatment involves injecting the prepared tissue into the affected disc through a very thin needle (similar in size to those used for vaccinations) while using live X-ray imaging (fluoroscopy) to guide the placement accurately. The goal is to provide extra support to the damaged disc, potentially reducing pain and improving mobility without the need for surgery.
